Jack Link's Beef Jerky – Messin' with Yeti Commercial

This commercial was filmed under the direction of a fellow classmate David Hilarides. For this class assignment, we were required to pair up with a classmate and one person would give a commercial idea to the other and vice versa. Then, each student would shoot and edit a commercial based on the idea of the other student, while also producing a version of their own idea. I produced an Apple commercial, and David thought of a Jack Link's Beef Jerky commercial. This commercial was extremely fun to film.

Apple Commercial

Apple products provide excellent quality, which is why so many people use Apple computers and mobile devices. This commercial was created for a video production class that I am currently progressing through. The goal of this project was to come up with a commercial idea, shoot and edit the footage, and create a polished final product. This commercial was inspired by the Apple mindset of remaining simple and easy to use. Apple has created computer devices that have been used in almost every field of work, and so I sought to illustrate the versatility and usability of Apple devices.

How to Make a Video in 60 Minutes

Making videos is so much fun, especially when you and your friends work together to make it awesome. This video was created for a Film contest among the students of Maranatha Baptist University during the spring semester of 2013. Three days before the video submissions were due, several friends approached me with an idea to make a video about how to make a video. Due to time constraints we decided to limit our filming time to 60 minutes. After hours and hours of editing, here is the final production which won first place. As part of Video Productions 1, I was required to create a commercial for a object of my choice. I decided Pringles would be an interesting and fun topic for a commercial. I asked my roommate, Jonathan Williquette, if he would be willing to be the talent in this commercial. He agreed and we proceeded to shoot this commercial.

While I continue working on my college degree, I am constantly looking for ways to apply what I am learning in my classes. One way I found to do this is to look around me at the people I sit in class with. My classmates are talented individuals with extraordinary abilities and talents. One such individual is a magician with a pencil and paper. His drawing skills are remarkable, and so I wanted to make a video showcasing the abilities he has. This short interview with TJ gives just a glimpse at what he can do as an artist.

Time Lapse: Camalapse

As part of my limited camera equipment, I have two GoPro cameras (HD HERO 2 and HD HERO 3), which have given me the ability to capture incredible footage in a variety of scenarios. This video is a compilation of time lapse footage using the added piece of equipment called a Camalapse. This nifty little device allows a time lapse to be captured while the camera itself it rotating at a rate of 360 degrees per hour. JAM Bakery Training Video

During the spring of 2013, I took Business Communication as part of my Digital Media Marketing Degree from Maranatha Baptist University, and this video was created as a supplement to one of the assignments for that class. The assignment involved a group presentation explaining to the class how to perform a certain task as if the class was being trained in a work environment. My group came up with JAM Bakery, a fictitious local bakery shop, that named using the first initals of each of the group members' names. This goal was to instruct potential employees in the creative process of making the signature Sticky Bread, unique to JAM Bakery.
